Slingcode.com: How It Works

Slingcode.com runs on a Slackware server running Apache, PHP, and MySQL.

Formatting is handled by PHP, and both articles and URLs are managed with MySQL; this lets us plan for new articles and update URLs without having to go back and revisit the content of each article.

Additionally, we are experimenting with various ways of organizing article collections in such a way that as you browse we will be able to make further recommendations based on what you're really looking for (not what other users also browsed).
